Using NightFireÖ solutions, communications service providers can for the first time bring broadband services such as DSL to customers in new territories in less than 60 days, and expand to deliver nationwide coverage in a matter of weeks.

The NightFire solution consists of products and services to enable service providers to achieve a ZeroTouch broadband service ordering process. Our primary products are:

SupplierExpress

NightFire SupplierExpressÖ software is a product that automates the traditionally manual service ordering process among Internet and telecommuncations service providers by providing gateways to the local suppliers.

NightFire SupplierExpress for Loop is the only product available that includes complete pre-ordering and ordering interfaces to the Operations Support Systems (OSSs) of all major U.S. Incumbent Local Exchange Carriers (ILECs) for local loops. SupplierExpress for Loop simplifies the traditionally manual, error-prone process of CLEC and ILEC interaction. It reduces the error rate from 50-80% to as little as 10%, and reduces service turn-on time from 30 days to as few as 10 days.

NIghtFire SupplierExpress for DSL is the only product available that automates the traditionally manual ordering process between DSL retailersùInternet Service Providers (ISPs), PC vendors, and Web portalsùand DSL wholesalersùCompetitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs) and ILECs. SupplierExpress for DSL includes capabilities for real-time pre-qualification, order entry, and ongoing service management.

CustomerExpress

NightFire CustomerExpressÖ software is a packaged service ordering system for broadband services such as DSL. It automates the pre-qualification, service selection, sign-up, and order management process for CLECs and ILECs, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), and other resellers of broadband services.

CustomerExpress is the only product available that provides web-based, self-service, ZeroTouch ordering of broadband services, making it easier for network providers to deliver their broadband services and for resellers (such as ISPs reselling DSL service) to obtain broadband services from their choice of network providers.

Both SupplierExpress and CustomerExpress are modular, extensible, and based on major standards including Java, XML, the Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA), and SQL (Oracle7 and Oracle8).

Both SupplierExpress and CustomerExpress are suitable for resale-oriented and facilities-based service providers in the U.S. We expect to add product capabilities in the future to address the needs of international carriers.
